Great dragons peering from their forest lair
Saw goodly knights jousting in combat there,
Chivalrously fair,
Knocking heads and taking names,
And thought, we too can play these puny knights games,
So forthwith the dragons
Entered the combat lists there.
The dragons came forth in the merry month of May,
Vowing by combat to begin the fray,
And oh what a fiercesome array
Did the fire breathing dragons display.
