Dragons flew in from both near and afar
Twas as though they were following a star,
To join in the friendly jousting spar.
There were two headed ones...
That were sometimes split personality ones...
Methinks even three headed ones...
Some fire breathing...
Some smoke belching...
There were frightening dragons...
And frightened dragons...
Flying in from the east came Golden ones...
From the west came savage Red ones...
Brutish,
Fiendishly churlish,
Dirty,
Nasty,
Snarling,
Foul smelling,
Mean spirited, knavish horney ones...
Indeed twas every kind of dragon
Ye might hope to see...
Chivalrously a-jousting
In the dueling dragons melee.
Alack and forsooth,
When glorious day twas done
Joustings both lost and won
The dragons joined in jubilee,
Every one.
Even thine humble knight jester a-juggling me,
Came a-fooling mid the joyous jubilee,
Bringing abundant laughter alike to ye
And me...
